An electrician for the whole of Bristol
Bristol keeps its electricians honest. What an electrician costs in Bristol
Most firms will not put a number on anything until they have been out. We publish ours. The everyday jobs carry fixed prices that hold anywhere in Bristol: an EICR is from £200 + VAT for a studio or one bed home, £225 + VAT for a two bed and £250 + VAT for a three bed, whether flat or house. A full fuse board replacement starts at £680 + VAT for a six way board, including the survey, testing, certification and notification. A home EV charge point is £780 + VAT including the charger itself on a standard run.
Fault finding starts at £140 + VAT for the first visit, and small jobs like a replacement socket or switch start at £95 + VAT, with anything extra done on the same visit priced lower because you are only paying for us to come out once. Bigger work is surveyed first: a typical full house rewire in Bristol lands between £4,500 and £6,500 + VAT depending on the size of the property and what the survey finds, always with a written specification before anyone lifts a floorboard.
Two things we never do: charge a premium for one postcode over another, and grow a price after it has been agreed. If something unexpected turns up mid-job, we stop, show you, and agree the change first.
Hourly and day rates in Bristol: what electricians typically charge
